I, Jane Chastain, being duly sworn, state: 1. My name is Jane Chastain. I am the host of a talk-radio show, called "The Jane Chastain Show which is broadcast live on KBRT in southern California from 2:00 to 3:30 p.m. PT and fed to other stations owned by Crawford Broadcasting by satellite. 2. John Brown has been a guest on my show approximately six times during the past two years since the video Obstruction of Justice was released. 3. As my guest, Mr. Brown has actively promoted the video and has stated something to the effect that he was involved in the production of Obstruction because he wanted the truth to be told. Mr. Brown has never suggested that he did not agree with the contents or the message of the video. 4. Many of my shows have focused on the plight of Sharline Wilson, who was prosecuted by Dan Harmon and was sentenced to 30 years in prison. I have been an advocate for Sharline, and so has Mr. Brown during his appearances on my program. He has always expressed support and sympathy for Sharline and has never suggested or indicated that she was involved in the killings of Kevin Ives and Don Henry. To the contrary, Mr. Brown has always insisted that she should not be serving time in prison.
