ACTION ALERT: Erroneous Date

The Boys on the Tracks, by Mara
Leveritt, which
was published this week, was erroneously listed with the chain
bookstores, and perhaps with some independent book stores as well, as
having been published last June. Because of that mistake, some stores
may not have the book in stock or even on-order. Book
stores--especially the chain bookstores, like Waldenbooks, Barnes and
Noble, Brentanos, Hastings, Books-a-Million, Borders, and
B.Dalton's--need to be
contacted and set straight--and the more calls they receive, the
better.
Information about the book is spreading quickly. Mara has
already received several calls for interviews, and on Nov. 5, the
Arkansas Times will publish an excerpt from the book, which will be
posted on arktimes.com. Thanks to those who have already ordered a
copy, THE BOYS ON THE TRACKS is selling well on Amazon.com. If any of
you could spare a minute to call a local bookstore and express interest
in this book, which you should mention has just been released, it would
help greatly. And, of course, please pass this notice along to any other
lists that might care to post it.
